My take on a jello pudding pop treat

Here is another great summer time treat to keep the kids happy and calories off of them. Easy and simple to make Jello pudding cubes or you can make them into pops.

Take any pack of sugar free pudding and make it according to the package.
Then you will pour it into an ice cube tray and let freeze. Pop them out when you have a craving for something sweet and yummy. If you prefer them on a stick pop a popsicle stick in and let freeze. Enjoy.

My favorite pasta salad my own wonderful creation

Here is another recipe.This recipe is a favorite at all the cookouts we go to. I have to make quite a bit of it. It is more like a complete meal because of all the goodies that are in this pasta salad.

Ingredients:
1 One pound box of elbows
1 jar of roasted red peppers
2-3 eggs hard boiled
1 green bell pepper
1 onion vidalia is wonderful or the purple spanish onions are terrific
2 cans of tuna or 2 cans of the tiny shrimp
1 can of olives sliced or chopped
Mayo the amount needed to mix the pasta it is your preference on the amount you can use light mayo or miracle whip to make this a more figure friendly meal.

Directions: Bowl your macaroni as you normaly would, as well as the two to three eggs. When finished boiling rinse the macaroni cold water to get it cooled down, you will want to run your eggs under cold water too makes it easier to peel, and then chop them or slice them..You will want to chop your onion, green pepper, a few strips of roasted red peppers, and olives while that is boiling. Rinse your tuna or shrimp so that it is ready to go into the pasta. When macaroni has been rinsed and cooled pour into a big pan probably a roasting pan type of size cause this makes a lot of pasta. Add all your veggies, the peppers both red and green the onions, the olives, and the tuna or shrimp, and eggs. Stir it so that all the goodies are all throughout the pasta. Now mix in your mayo or miracle whip to desired amount. Stir well. Now shake some dill weed and mix again add a little more dill weed on top, and sprinkle a little paprika for a nice bold color. Enjoy!

Power shake

I am calling it the healthy monkey.

Ingredients: A small single size container of vanilla yogurt (6 oz.)
A banana chopped small
1 to 2 tsp of peanutbutter
6 to 8 oz . skim or low fat milk
a drizzle of honey which ofcourse is optional

Directions: Put banana, yogurt, peanutbutter and milk into a blender and blend until smooth like a smoothie or shake consistency. Pour into a glass add a drizzle of honey and stir. Feel free to add ice if you like. Enjoy!

I know there are many variations of this out there but this was something I came up with earlier today.

Today

Today I woke up to a beautiful Spring maybe even to be considered and early summer day. I am watching the birds coming and going. They have sat on my porch, eaten from my yard.

They have sung beautiful songs, and talked with various other birds in my yard today.

Today is beautiful, and just in a short while I will be heading out to capture some more pics to share with all of you. I hope everyone is having as great a day as I am today.
